As you know, we recently launched Virtual Classes, which allow you to connect with your favorite fitness instructors in the comfort of your home!   We have been adding classes on a daily basis.

Oakland Hills Tennis Club has been dedicated for 45 years towards the community’s fitness and wellness goals.

I am very proud that during this challenging time we are still striving to deliver to you the best what we have to offer.

Aqua: This resistance/strengthening class aimed at improving tone, strength and mobility. This form of exercise is particularly beneficial to anyone at risk from bodily stress, including the elderly, overweight, or those recovering from soft tissue injury.

Aqua Method: Aqua Method is a program that utilizes hydrostatic pressure to facilitate smooth, fluid movements with balanced resistance, increasing range of movement over time. It is designed for everyone from athletes in training to post-operative patience in need of rehabilitation. Also, it’s good for circulation and pain management due to arthritis and fibromyalgia. It’s yoga meets ballet meets swimming.

Balance Training This class improves standing, single leg, core, shoulder, neck, and hip balance.

Core Cycling: Enjoy 2 popular formats in one: 45 minutes of cycling and 10 minutes of hard-core work!

Cardio Mix: A complete body workout that includes a combination of high & low impact aerobics mixed with blocks of strength training.
Double Step: Double stepping at its best! Using the steps vertically, come and enjoy this advanced, yet easy to follow, double step workout. Mixing the basic patterns with advanced step choreography, you will learn the best ways to transition between the two steps while sweating and having fun!

Group Cycling: Indoor Group Cycling offers a great cardio workout and is done on stationary bikes to music.  All levels are welcome as intensity on bikes is adjustable. Bring a water bottle and towel to class.

Hip Hop: A super fun cardio workout that builds your bone density and gets your groove on! Format is 45 mins of warm-up, muscle strengthening, and cardio and then the last 15 minutes are spent learning a dance routine that builds week to week. Students who cannot commit to regular attendance to learn the dance are welcome to come just for the for the workout portion.

Pilates: Increase flexibility, body awareness, core strength, and lean muscles during this refreshing mind-body workout. Pilates focuses on breathing, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Pi-Yo: Combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga while cranking up the speed to deliver a true fat burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.

Functional Training: Functional training helps provide you with the strength, stability, and mobility you need to thrive in your life and sports. You use basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying and gait patterns—walking and running—every day. Seems smart, right?

TBC: Enjoy a total body workout utilizing cardio training, intervals, explosive power moves, and strength work.

TRX®: Best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

Yoga: Form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. Increase your strength, flexibility, and balance, relieve stress and relax.

Zumba®: The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.
