League tennis is a great way to improve your game. It’s an opportunity to meet new people and play fun yet competitive tennis all while improving overall physical fitness. There are many benefits in playing league tennis, with many different types of leagues you can join – USTA sanctioned leagues, flex leagues and BALL League; you can also play singles, doubles and/or mixed doubles. Considering all of these options, one of them is sure to be right for you!
USTA League
USTA League is the country’s largest recreational tennis league, helping more than 825,000 participants nationwide get on the court, have a good time, and step up their game. USTA League is organized into teams by level and gender for team match play. Teams are made up of a minimum of five to eight players, depending on the league.
BALL League
Bay Area Ladies League (BALL) is similar to the USTA Leagues, except it is for Ladies only and matches are not held every week. Team matches are spread out from September through April, and are held in the mornings during the week. For more information visit Bay Area Ladies League.
